History
1983

Norbert Hoffmann founds the business along with his wife, Marlies, on 220 square metres in Legden.

1988

Relocation to Rosendahl-Holtwick. The new production area measures 2,400 square metres.

1989 One-stop shopping: MELA Metallbau GmbH is founded and now supplies complete metal elements for shopfitting projects.
1999 In order to fulfil the growing demand in the area of shopfitting, Hoffmann Planung is founded. The subsequent rebranding as Hoffmann Interior GmbH emphasises the company's competence as a specialist for national and international commercial construction and interior furnishing.
2000 New construction per greenfield approach: 4,500 square metres offer plenty of space for new projects.
2004

Cooperation with the American wood specialists Eastern Millwork in New Jersey. "Made in Rosendahl" facilities are now also delivered to the USA.

2006 Course set for the future: Longstanding employees Jürgen Frechen and Guido Kruthoff are made managing partners and now manage the company together with founder Norbert Hoffmann.
2009 The building extension goes into operation. The total production area is now 7,700 square metres. The new logistics centre accommodates large-scale shop and store logistics projects.
