Be it Viennese Blend, Columbia Supreme or Manhattan Blend: Einstein Kaffee is offering coffee lovers a diverse selection of aromatic roasts. They can now also enjoy them at the newly opened location in Dresden in the immediate vicinity of the Altmarktgalerie. In early June 2011 owner Dr. Vicky Hermet-Schleicher opened the doors to the coffee house – just in time to treat the expected total of around 100,000 guests at the German Protestant Kirchentag (Congress) to coffee specialities. The inviting interior is taken from the product line at Hoffmann Interior GmbH from Rosendahl-Holtwick.
From a long way off, large, brown letters and the logo emblem featuring the Einstein-typical coffee cup already show visitors the way to the new scene meeting place in Dresden. Whether you now take your seat in the forecourt of the Quartier M Arkaden in the outdoor area, watch the hustle and bustle in the square from the Bistro tables behind the spacious side window or sit down in the genuine cowhide leather chairs – here guests are spoilt for choice just looking for somewhere to sit.
The details are the important thing
In the interior the visitor can expect an ambience in pure unadulterated coffee house style. This is ensured by carefully selected features such as exclusive porcelain lamps with their hand-applied satinized Einstein lettering. Noir Saint Laurent – here for example it has nothing to do with a type of coffee, but marble from France, which now also adorns Bistro tabletops as well as the sales counter top. The latter also forms part of the centre-piece in the 112m² coffee house: the approximately 8-m long service station in rustic oak look. In addition to preparing the coffee, which is handled by professional Baristas, sweet and hearty snacks can also be ordered. To ensure that they are always sold fresh over-the-counter, service staff prepare them just-in-time in the adjoining preparation kitchen. In addition, cooling systems ensure the optimum temperature of the kitchen buffet in the display cases. Daily menus are shown on a display board located in the rear wall element and also highlighted by indirect illumination.
Coffee to go
Anyone who would also like to enjoy Einstein Kaffee at home, can have the roasts along with the matching Einstein cups wrapped up to take with them – these are stylishly presented in showcases and on shelves in the rear wall area. On the subject of the rear wall: in addition to all the necessary work and storage areas, the rear wall area features a decorative mosaic decor, which has been picked up again as a further element in the base of the sales counter. As a colourful eye-catcher in the guest room, the Einstein cup has been immortalized in a wall painting in Warhol-style thus forming a successful style contrast to the rest of the interior.
